My name is Ruth Block and my label is Loïs.. Loïs is an independent company that promotes the recycling of clothes by creating new and unique, trend driven garments from unwanted clothing and fabrics. In doing so, Loïs aims to contribute to reducing the effects of climate change. Climate change is, in part, due to the amount of harmful gases that are emitted by the amount of waste that we as humans produce. Recycling old clothes means that they are not just thrown in a landfill site. Landfill sites contribute to the effects of climate change through emissions of harmful gases.
